Coaches would participate in pre-program training in March 2025 and run activities 2x/week from 2:45-4:15 using the Girls on the Run curriculum. They would also be responsible for supervising participation in an end of season 5k race, scheduled for May 31st. The season would begin the week of April 7th and conclude before Memorial Day weekend. Practices would be at Callery Park (across the street from LC) from 2:30-4:00pm on sporadic days. We will only be able to practice whenever the high school boys varsity tennis team has an away match. I'll have assign specific days. All matches would be at McPherson Park in Lowell against Innovation Academy. This is the only other team in the league, so we would just play each other every week. Transportation would be provided by the parents. Matches would be weekly on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays, with a start time of 3:00pm or 4:00pm.

Performance Responsibilities and Duties (include but are not limited to): * Reports to the Head Coach, Athletic Director and/or Headmaster as appropriate. * Plan and schedule a regular program of sports practice and interscholastic contests as prescribed by the Athletic Department. * Institute the established fundamental philosophy, skill, and technique training appropriate for student-athletes participating in the particular sport. * Have knowledge of existing local, league, and state sports regulations and oversee the consistent implementation of such using proper administrative channels. * Maintain and provide, as assigned, all appropriate documentation and record keeping to fulfill system and/or state requirements including, but not limited to, individual physical examinations, interscholastic registration/permission/medical forms, equipment/uniform inventories and the like. * Monitor the well-being of players and safeguard school facilities and property in which the assigned sport is conducted; this includes supervision of players at practices, games, while on transportation vehicles and until all players are known to have departed for their homes. * Oversee and monitor the appropriate and respectful use of all school facilities, sports equipment, and school property inclusive of general cleanliness and the security of such at all time that student-athletes are present. * Work closely with the Head Coach and Athletic Director in the issuance, collection, inventory and storage of all sport related equipment, supplies, and uniforms. * Participates with the Head Coach in the development of the budget and recommends the purchase of equipment, supplies, and uniforms in this budget process as appropriate to the particular sport. * Monitor student-athlete academic progress and other performance criteria for eligibility in interscholastic competition in the particular sport season per state and district regulations. * Enforce good school citizenship and sportsmanlike behavior at all times and participates in due process procedures concerning potential penalties for the breach of such standards by individual student-athletes. * Promote by example: loyalty, leadership, dedication, physical conditioning, sportsmanship, cooperation, playing skill and personal responsibility. * Coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the involved sport. * Maintain first-aid certification and current cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification. * Foster good public relations with news media, parents, officials, booster clubs, volunteers, fans and other school staff. * Provide quality information for sports related press releases to the Athletic Director. * Assist the Athletic Director in the annual evaluation of all other staff involved in the particular sports program. * Assist athletes and/or their parents in the selection of college or work force opportunities. * Attend pre-season coaching meeting scheduled by the Athletic Director. * Attend parent information meeting prior to the beginning of the season. * Attend end-of-season sports awards ceremony. * Coordinate and cooperate with the Athletic Director in matters that pertain to the program, especially fundraising. * Understand and follow MIAA rules, Braintree High School Athletic Department policy and School District policy. * Report any and all injuries to the Athletic Trainer, School Nurse and Athletic Director. * Report any unusual circumstances to the Athletic Director and/or Headmaster. * Perform other related tasks and assume such other responsibilities as may from time to time be assigned by the Athletic Director and/or Headmaster. * Attend Civil Rights Presentation offered by school district. * Complete Coaches Education Course offered and presented by MIAA.
