Education and/or Experience

Technical Skills

Job Description

We are looking for chess teachers who have the ability to use chess to motivate, educate and help children discover the potential for greatness inside of them. We are looking for teachers with at least two years of chess experience and a deep desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be able to manage a classroom of up to 25 students
• Create and foster a positive learning environment and exhibit positive rapport with students
• Hold high expectations for student achievement
• Provide individual or small group instruction for students who need additional assistance

Prior experience as a pediatric OT/PT is a plus, but not required!
CURRENT SHIFT OPENINGS: Candidate must be available to work the some / all of the following shifts to be considered. A Full Time KidStrong Coach will coach approximately 20 - 25 hours a week.
