Assigned Duties:
Regarding Student Athletes
Provide devotion and prayer during each practice, intentionally leading athletes to grow in mind, spirit, and body. Remember, our mission is to develop Christian growth and leadership.
Provide recommendations for off-season training and camp.
Manage the balance of developing fitness and skill with beginners.
Advise athletes in their pursuit of athletic goals.
Teach the basic skills and the more complicated skills of the sport.
Ensure that current physical, consent, and concussion forms are on file before a student-athlete begins tryouts.
Regarding Practices
Develop and supervise regular practices in-season unless games prevent it.
Work with A.D. to develop a practice schedule before the season begins. The practice schedule must be approved by the A.D. and submitted to the school office for publication.
Notify A.D. of any changes to the practice schedule at least 48 hours in advance. In case of cancellation due to an emergency, the school office must be notified along with the A.D.
In inclement weather, confer with A.D. about time change or cancellation.
Check the practice facility/field for cleanliness and order before and after each practice.
Remain at the facility/field at the end of practices until all players have left.
Regarding Games
Dress professionally
Confirm transportation with the school office. When available, varsity teams should travel together in an activity bus or van. For transportation rules, refer to the Athletic Handbook.
Be present on campus for student athletes' game-day early dismissals. Ensure athletes are dismissed in a timely and quiet manner.
Coordinate team pre-game activities/conduct and supervise pre-game warm-ups.
Coach during the game with intensity, encouragement, and professionalism. Your character will be remembered long after the score.
Regarding Assistant Coaches
Acquire at least one assistant coach as needed who shares the coaching philosophy and Christian character. The acquisition must be approved by the athletic director and Secondary principal.
Cross-train assistant coach(es) to supervise practice in the head coach's absence.
Guide assistant coaches on technique, training, practice design, and development.
Regarding Communication
Refer to the Athletic Handbook to see the communication flow chart.
Provide contact information (phone and email) to parents.
Communicate game times, locations, and expectations to student-athletes regularly and on time.
Establish expectations with team captain(s) and players at the beginning of the season.
Regarding Administration
Provide equipment/uniform requests to A.D. before the season.
Submit budget requests to A.D. for the following season.
Meet with A.D. regularly throughout and at the end of the season to evaluate performance and program needs.

What you'll do:
Lead a high-performing team by coaching, developing talent, and fostering an inclusive, engaging culture focused on our mission of building healthier communities by connecting people to real food
Drive excellence in operations, customer experience, and profitability through performance metrics, tools, and accountability
Uphold food quality and safety standards; ensure production consistency and regulatory compliance
Execute on the fundamentals: food & labor planning, staffing, inventory management, POS systems, and profit and loss (P&L) responsibilities
Be a servant leader who builds trust, facilitates clear communication, tackles obstacles, and enables the team to thrive in a dynamic environment
Must-Have Qualifications (Minimum Requirements)
10+ years in food service, with at least 6 years in a hands-on management role in a fast-paced environment
Experience hiring, developing, training, and motivating team members
Skills in planning, managing, and forecasting financials, labor, & inventory
Hands-on experience working, managing and optimizing processes in a fast-paced food service environment
Experience leading and mentoring teams in a collaborative fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience in fast casual restaurant chains
Regional Manager's Food Safety Certification (ServSafe Manager's Certification)
