Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide guidance to all levels of Cottage Grove Softball, including youth and summer program
- Effectively analyze and teach the fundamentals skills and strategies of the sport
- Work with the head coach to plan, organize, conduct, and evaluate practices session along with develop, implement, and evaluate game plans and strategies
- Serve as a leader, mentor, and role-model to the student-athletes of the program
- Experience playing or coaching softball (baseball unfortunately does not count as softball)
- Confident in an ability to teach fundamentals
- Flexible work schedule that leaves M-F open from 4-7pm and can adapt for away games and early games during the week
-Ability to potentially coach the JV softball team

Position Summary
The Head Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the Women's Beach Volleyball program. Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's degree from accredited university.
* Five years successful collegiate/professional volleyball playing and/or volleyball coaching experience.
Professional Competencies
* Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated dedication to the full academic and social development of student-athletes.
Preferred Qualifications
* Affiliation with highly successful elite program(s).
* Experience with beach volleyball.
* Experience managing a competitive volleyball or beach volleyball program.
* Proven successful implementation of offensive and/or defensive strategies.
* Proven significant skill development of student-athletes both individually and collectively.
