    ROLE TITLE: Head Peak Performance Coach Director of Athletics and Recreation The Head Peak Performance Coach is responsible for all aspects of the College's in-season and off-season programming related to athletic performance, coaching, and injury prevention for all varsity sport athletes. The incumbent will also oversee all areas related to the Wise Center fitness space(s), coordinates with third party distributors and vendors for equipment upgrades and repairs. * What you will do in this role: * Year round, comprehensive strength and conditioning program design and implementation for varsity athletics including strength training, injury prevention and conditioning. * Monitoring and coaching athletes during workouts to maintain safe, positive, and effective sessions. Instruct and demonstrate safe lifting techniques during sessions. * Administrative responsibilities including but not limited to: Oversight of fitness equipment/facilities in Wise Center, department-wide Assistant Coach continuing education, inclusion in administrative decision making and committees. * Communicate with Athletic Training Staff to stay up to date on injury limitations or individual needs of an athlete as identified by the Athletic Training Staff. Assistance with Return to Play Protocols. * Coordinate with head coaches to establish weight room schedules for all varsity athletics, and assist in team building, culture communication, upholding standards, and the like for each team. * Establish and maintain Peak Performance Fueling Station; including maintenance and repair, cleanliness, coordinating purchases of food/drink, security. * Establish and maintain a safe and functional weight room. Determine facility hours during in-session and semester break periods. Perform small repairs to fitness equipment as needed. Coordinate with third party equipment providers for equipment maintenance and repairs.
