This position supports the Lace Up and Learn Up (LULU) Summer Camp Series, a full-day youth development initiative for boys and girls entering grades 3-8. Coach-Mentors work alongside Head Coaches to deliver a positive, safe, and growth-oriented camp experience. II. Core Work Scope & Responsibilities Our Coach-Mentors work closely with our Head Coaches to establish positive adult-youth relationships and ensure that participants have an enjoyable learning experience at camp. Reinforce the themes and tone of the Head Coach-Mentor throughout the duration of the camp experience. Conduct the basketball drilling stations, academic power hour, referee, and coach game play to make sure that participants are fully engaged, focused, learning on and off the court, and having fun.
