Job Description Cristo Rey Jesuit High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated Head JV/C-Squad Coach to support our girls' volleyball program. The Head Coach will work under the direction of the Activities Director to develop athletes, implement training plans, and foster a positive, competitive, and sportsmanlike environment. This role requires a passion for volleyball, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor and motivate high school aged student athletes. This position is a seasonal position that works from August to October 2025 (dates to be determined), requires occasional travel to events, and is paid a biweekly stipend. About the Role: As the Head Coach, you will be responsible for leading and managing the JV and C-Squad volleyball teams, with a focus on youth mentoring and sports management. Your main objective will be to develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance the performance and skills of our athletes. Work with the Strength and Conditioning Coach to provide a year round strength and conditioning program. Use the allotted days by the MSHSL in June and July to provide athletes the opportunity to do Cross Country specific training. Encourage and support multisport athletes within Breck School. Assist student athletes with college recruitment. Act as a team representative and promote the sport by communicating with news media and other organizations. Participate in special activities to include parent meetings, senior night, banquets, etc. Attend staff development meetings, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Director of Athletic or other appropriate administrator. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Three years of experience coaching Cross Country at the high school level (head coaching experience preferred). Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport.
