JOB SUMMARY
The Counselor provides clinical assessment/problem identification, individual, family and group therapy and case management. Develops and monitors treatment plans, monitors treatment progress, documents significant interactions, and maintains clinical charts and other reporting data. Must be licensed or provisionally licensed and requires a Master's degree in a mental health field.
The Kid Clinic is a school-based pediatric clinic that serves children ages 2 weeks to 21 years old and offers counseling services for children 4 years old to 21 years old. The Kid Clinic is a collaborative effort between Campbell County Health, Campbell County Medical Group, and Campbell County School District to provide primary medical care, behavioral health, and substance use counseling services in Northeastern Wyoming.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of behavioral health clients.
Provides clinically appropriate therapy utilizing best practices whenever possible.
Is actively engaged in the department, solves problems, participates in strategic planning, and contributes positively to workplace moral.
As assigned by manager and location participates in on call crisis rotation after hours and assists with walk-in crises during business hours.
Works positively and collaboratively with courts, law enforcement, physicians, hospital staff, Department of Family Services, Probation Offices, Campbell County School District, and other community agencies as applicable.
Maintains clinical documentation in a manner as required by department policy, the Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs, and the Medicaid Policies and Procedures Manual, and in accordance, as applicable with SAMHSA TIPS and TAPS.
Maintains competence in multicultural issues and demonstrates respect and understanding for people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Adheres to established policies and procedures for Behavioral Health services or Kid Clinic and Campbell County Memorial Hospital.
Actively engages in departmental quality assurance and utilization management activities and processes to include monthly chart reviews.
Provides community-based psychotherapy to individuals, groups, and families as applicable.
Participates in activities to promote mental health and/or the prevention of substance abuse, particularly among children and adolescents, as appropriate.
Must be free from governmental sanctions involving health care and/or financial practices.
Complies with the hospital's Corporate Compliance Program including, but not limited to, the Code of Conduct, laws and regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.
Demonstrates working knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to HIPPA, CFR 42 and 45, EMTALA etc.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
A master's degree in a mental health discipline or related field is required.
Licensure
Licensed or license eligible as a licensed mental health professional is required. If not licensed at the time of hire, must obtain licensure or provisional licensure within one month of date of hire.
Licensed professionals must strictly adhere to the ethical code of their respective discipline.

POSITION SUMMARY:
In partnership with the Wyoming Department of Education, Carbon County School District 1, and the Wyoming Behavioral Institute Outpatient & Telehealth Clinic tele-therapeutic services will be offered to students and their families. The WBI Outpatient & Telehealth Clinic provides intensive and targeted clinical therapeutic services to improve the continuum of care to students and to provide access to mental/behavioral healthcare services to the underserved. The Mental Health Aide serves as first contact with students and their families and is responsible for assisting students and their families with the initial consult and enrollment for telehealth services and providing case management services, securing student insurance and other payment processes, participating as a member of the treatment team, scheduling, and coordinating other needs from intake to discharge. The Mental Health Aide works within the school setting, and must be able to effectively collaborate with teachers, school staff, and administration to coordinate services and schedule therapy sessions during the school day and school vacations. The Mental Health Aide is responsible for providing accurate and timely communication, reporting for grant requirements, documentation, and problem-solving and recommendations to referral sources as well as the treatment team. Other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Mileage reimbursement for work related traveling activities, work cellphone provided, position starts at 32 hours/week, benefits available.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:
Must be 21 years of age. Associate's degree (or higher) in mental health/behavioral health, Social Sciences, Social Work, or related field is preferred. Experience and willingness to provide services in school settings and through telehealth is required. Willingness to become certified as a Certified Mental Health Worker, if applicable. Two (2) years of experience in patient care and mental and behavioral health care or equivalent is preferred; demonstrated ability to successfully organize and enter data, complete reporting, organize patient files, communicate effectively through teleservices, and meet licensing, accreditation, and grant standards. Must have knowledge of developmental tasks of children, adolescents, adults, and families and apply knowledge in assessment and planning of care. Experience in Case Management is helpful.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Duties require sitting, standing, walking regularly. Requires reaching overhead occasionally and lifting occasionally up to 25 lbs. Position requires that the individual be in good physical and mental health sufficient to support behavioral health patients of all ages. Mental Health Aide must be able to maintain the ability to provide and support services through telehealth, including the need to speak and hear via teleconference. The mental health aide works in the school setting and will follow professional standards for providing services within the school setting. Hours may be irregular including evenings, duties variable. May be occasional occupational exposure to blood borne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.

Properly document consultations to enable the dropping of appropriate Provider Fee Charges on behalf of CRMC.
Completes Clinical Precertification/Preauthorization prior to admission as required by payers.
Coordination of clinical disposition to In patient psychiatric care and facilitation of discharge plan in partnership with the medical team to appropriately meet assessed psychiatric need if discharging from the Emergency Room or the Medical floors.
Enacts licensure obligations and responsibilities under Title 25 of the Wyoming Mental Health Statute.
Completes and tracks productivity efforts as required.
Participates in scheduled staffing, individual supervision, care review, documentation audit and observed practice and other quality assurance activities and support High Reliability in Healthcare prerogatives.

POSITION SUMMARY:
In partnership with the Wyoming Department of Education, Carbon County School District 1, and the Wyoming Behavioral Institute Outpatient & Telehealth Clinic tele-therapeutic services will be offered to students and their families. The WBI Outpatient & Telehealth Clinic provides intensive and targeted clinical therapeutic services to improve the continuum of care to students and to provide access to mental/behavioral healthcare services to the underserved. The Mental Health Aide serves as first contact with students and their families and is responsible for assisting students and their families with the initial consult and enrollment for telehealth services and providing case management services, securing student insurance and other payment processes, participating as a member of the treatment team, scheduling, and coordinating other needs from intake to discharge. The Mental Health Aide works within the school setting, and must be able to effectively collaborate with teachers, school staff, and administration to coordinate services and schedule therapy sessions during the school day and school vacations. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED:

Experience and willingness to provide services in school settings and through telehealth is required. Willingness to become certified as a Certified Mental Health Worker, if applicable. Two (2) years of experience in patient care and mental and behavioral health care or equivalent is preferred; demonstrated ability to successfully organize and enter data, complete reporting, organize patient files, communicate effectively through teleservices, and meet licensing, accreditation, and grant standards. WORKING CONDITIONS:
Duties require sitting, standing, walking regularly. Requires reaching overhead occasionally and lifting occasionally up to 25 lbs. Position requires that the individual be in good physical and mental health sufficient to support behavioral health patients of all ages. Mental Health Aide must be able to maintain the ability to provide and support services through telehealth, including the need to speak and hear via teleconference. Required Education, Experience, or Eligibility Qualifications

* Fully or Provisionally licensed as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or LAT through the Wyoming Mental Health Professions Licensing Board, or eligible for licensure if current licensure is out-of-state
* Meet qualifications required for a substance abuse professional, Clinician, or assistant by the State of Wyoming's Division of Behavioral Health Standards for the Operation of Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Programs
* Proficient in the use of computer software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Suite and desktop publishing
* Exceptional and demonstrated time management skills to stay organized and meet tight deadlines

* Five years of post-licensure clinical experience, with some of this experience directly related to serving persons with addiction disorders: alcohol, drugs, gambling
