RESPONSIBILITIES
The Case Manager will complete new client intakes.
Meet with clients at a minimum of once per week for Face-to-Face meetings.
Develop Independent Living Plan for clients.
Work with clients in creating a budget to identify needs and obligations. Where applicable, incorporate upcoming shelter obligations.
Maintain and update the resource database of social service organizations relevant to the needs of the clients.
Provide ongoing support and counseling for clients in reaching their goals.
Provide assessment and crisis intervention.
The Case Manager will foster inter-agency collaboration to assist in client long-term stability and advocate for client needs.
Work collaboratively with members of a larger treatment or service coordination team, both within the agency and in the larger community.

The Case Manager will collect client housing logs weekly. Complete monthly reporting in a timely manner. Submit documentation to DSS Housing Liaison.
Attend scheduled Case Management team meetings, individual supervision, staff meetings and trainings, as required.
Work in partnership with the Division Director and seek supervisory input, as needed.
Ensure rules, regulations and policies of shelter and model professional behavior.
Maintain and update resource database of social service organizations relevant to the needs of target population.
Set and observe appropriate boundaries with clients; observe client confidentiality and HIPPA protocols.
Establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally to achieve the goals of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Services required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in human services or related field preferred.
Knowledge of the Suffolk County Department of Social Services preferred.
Knowledge of human services and previous experience working with at-risk population preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills required.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office required; experience with HMIS, Google Apps, and web-based project management software preferred.

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Clinical Supervisor will oversee our Children & Family Services programming at the NYC Family Justice Center- Bronx. The Clinical Supervisor provides clinical supervision, support, and training to their assigned team to help staff members and interns develop their skills, knowledge, and competence in delivering services in the Children and Families program. This position is responsible for the direct supervision of Clinicians, Children's Activity Leader, student interns and volunteers with oversight of the BxFJC Children's Room. This role includes maintaining relationships with the clinical staff at Sanctuary for Families' various sites and working collaboratively with Family Justice Center partner agencies and staff. The Clinical Supervisor will also carry a small caseload of child and teen clients who have witnessed or been victims of domestic violence or Gender-Based violence. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides clinical and administrative supervision to Clinicians, Children's Activity Leader, student interns and volunteers.
Oversees the day-to-day running of the Children's Room and any special events or programming.
Conducts Comprehensive Assessments for children and families referred for counseling.
Provides individual counseling to a caseload of children and teens who have witnessed domestic violence or other Gender-Based violence.
