Clinical Psychologist - Veteran Disability Assessments We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team in performing medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In performing Disability Assessments, you will review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and perform a comprehensive assessment in-person on each Veteran.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
* Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
* Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.
Note: This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication. Disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the provider.
Position Details:
* Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time
* Location: In-person role.
* Caseload: 4 Veterans per day on average.
* Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary tools for documentation.

Technical Skills Must be proficient in physical assessment of the cardiovascular patient and fluent in cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Must be comfortable with 12 lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias. Knowledgeable and experienced in stress testing is preferred.
License/Certification Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS certification. ACLS, PALS, NRP and/or required specialty training or course completion (current upon hire).

This Outpatient Physical Therapist opportunity is per diem and offers a convenient flexible schedule. This dynamic individual will be Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment as prescribed by a licensed physician. Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. The staff therapist participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Ensures that patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis. Participates in all infection control, departmental equipment training and organizational safety programs.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Ability to perform an appropriate assessment on all patients as related to the therapy requested and provided and reassessments as per policy. This includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric patients and the general adult patient population.
Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function or participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
Formulates a teaching plan based upon identified learning needs and evaluates effectiveness of learning, family is included in teaching as appropriate.
Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
