Responsible for adherence to department and patient treatment schedule, timely clinical and billing documentation requirements as well as work related meetings.3. Attends and contributes to patient care, staffing conferences and other related meetings.4. Makes referrals to other disciplines and agencies in order to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.5. Consults with other members of the rehabilitation team to select the most appropriate therapeutic regimen consistent with the needs and capabilities of each patient.6. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Leadership and Program Support
Assist in creation of learning environments that are supportive of participant needs, using evidence-based practices for intervention purposes. Knowledgeable and fluent with individual intervention plans.
Provide compassionate care; accord others with dignity; accept responsibility for all work. Serve as a model for clinical intervention provision that emphasizes positive practices and limits the use of restraint.

Model, facilitate, and encourage ongoing, collegial communications between and among Program and Clinical staff.
Consult with Adult Services staff regarding any behavioral issues in the program, other learning environments, or transportation vans. Provide direct support in program through presence on the floor and working with participants. Observe in all programs and learning environments and provide performance feedback based upon results of observations.
Attend monthly staffing meetings to provide leadership, direction, and specialized trainings as needed.
Behavior Support Plan Development
In conjunction with program staff, develop, update, and annually review and assess individual Behavior Support Plans (BSPs). Coordinate the collection of behavior data, perform required analyses, and create graphic illustrations of data for review by others to assist in monitoring progress. Conduct treatment integrity and data reliability checks as needed.
Assist with completion of Functional Behavior Assessments to ensure effective and accountable behavior plans are developed and implemented. Completes 30/60/90-day behavior reviews as necessary.
Assist in the preparation and presentation to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT), Restraint Review Committee (RRC), Behavior Management Committee (BMC), and Human Rights Committee (HRC) meetings as needed.
Update current replacement skills, teaching data, medication records, and data sheets.
Maintain medical history information and collect data reviews. Create and distribute Medical Contraindication forms for participant injuries when applicable.
Training, Supervision, and Communication
Schedules and conducts clinical-related training for Adult Services staff including BSPs, reinforcement systems, and specialized training programs.
Assists in providing clinical leadership, oversight, performance feedback, and coaching to graduate students doing field work toward BCBA certification, as needed. Provides required supervision to BCBA candidates as assigned.
Maintains Restraint database in conjunction with the Adult Services Administrative Assistant and clinical team.
Participates in annual assessment meetings with program staff.
Attends Pre-ISP and ISP meetings as needed.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master's degree in related field.
Certificates/Registrations: Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) with no sanctions or disciplinary actions.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Link Home Therapy is looking for a Behavioral Health Clinician to join our team. You'll provide clinical assessments, therapy, and counseling services to geriatric individuals experiencing mental health challenges. The clinician is responsible for developing individualized treatment plans, providing therapeutic interventions, and working as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the overall well-being of geriatric residents.
Location: On-site at an Assisted Living Facility in Toms River, NJ
Duties and ResponsibilitiesClinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments, including intake interviews, screenings, and evaluations to determine the mental health and/or substance use needs of clients.Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on the client's goals, preferences, and clinical needs. Ensure that plans are regularly updated and aligned with progress and setbacks.Therapeutic Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group therapy, and family therapy as appropriate. Case Management: Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, social workers, and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care and resource utilization.Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention services, including de-escalation techniques and safety planning, for clients in acute distress or experiencing mental health crises.Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with ethical, legal, and organizational standards.Client Education: Educate clients and families about mental health, coping strategies, and available resources. Encourage active participation in treatment and recovery planning.

Clinician Job In Union, NJ
Intensive In-Community Clinician needed to provide individualized mental health treatments to address emotional and behavioral challenges in children and youths throughout the state of NJ. Clinicians will work to elevate and evolve families to more effectively manage the home environment and maintain children within their home settings. Clinicians will prepare Individual Service Treatment Plans, and assist clients in additional clinical needs which may include, but are not limited to: referral, assessment, emergency plan development, and discharge planning.
