HASLC is the largest public housing authority in the state of Utah and the largest provider of Affordable Housing in the Salt Lake Valley. We currently assist over 10,000 individuals, who are seniors, persons with disabilities, children, previously homeless, and households with minimal income, a place to call home. General Purpose as Affordable Housing Case Manager The Affordable Housing Case Manager is responsible for managing their assign case load which includes documenting and monitoring continued eligibility of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) program participants, calculate rent levels and monitor program compliance while following written policies, procedures, and regulations. The Affordable Housing Case Manager position is performed entirely onsite at HASLC's main office in Salt Lake City, Utah. Researches, investigates, and resolves concerns or complaints between landlords, participants, and the housing authority. Continuously provide timely and excellent customer service and support via email, text, and phone (with interpretation and translation services, when appropriate). Requirements: Desired Skills & Experience of Affordable Housing Case Manager High School diploma or equivalent, and two years' experience in social services, administrative/customer service, or a related housing industry position; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Self-starter with an ability to maintain organized records with efficiency and accuracy under pressure of deadlines, with interruptions.
