*Position Overview: *The Therapist plans, directs and coordinates medically-approved programs for patients in hospitals, substance abuse facilities, or other institutions. Inspires and motivates RCA clients and to help them develop tools to work toward recovery using evidence-based and person-centered practices
*Specific Responsibilities:*
Evaluate clients' mental and physical health, addiction, or problem behavior and assess their readiness for treatment Help clients develop treatment goals and plans Review and recommend treatment options with clients and their families Help clients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their addiction or modify their behavior Work with clients to identify behaviors or situations that interfere with their recovery Teach families about addiction or behavior disorders and help them develop strategies to cope with those problems Refer clients to other resources and services, such as job placement services and support groups Conduct outreach programs to help people identify the signs of addiction and other destructive behavior, as well as steps to take to avoid such behavior Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
*Education and Experience:*
Minimum of a bachelors degree in a human service field required; masters degree in human service field preferred. Minimum licensure as a social worker with a LMSW, professional counselor or addiction counselor, LPC-A, LAC-A, LAC, LPC required; LISW or LPC-S preferred. Acceptable substitute for licensure includes credentials as an Alcohol Drug Counselor (ADC) in process, ADC, or Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (AADC); AADC- Clinical Supervisor (CS) preferred. Provisional licensure must become independent licensure and/or in process credentials must be completed within 3 years of hire date. Preferably 1 year experience working with a substance use disordered population. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to handle multiple projects under pressure. Must have strong knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Understanding of diverse cultures and gender specific issues and the ability to incorporate needs of gender and culturally diverse groups into the organization. Understands need for and maintains appropriate confidentiality at all times when interacting with patients, residents, families, visitors, referral sources and all other contacts. Exhibits excellent customer relation skills as evidenced by supportive and constructive communication with all contacts including coworkers, patients, residents, visitors, families and referral sources. Knowledge of case management for dual diagnosis patient.

The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
*Travel: *Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at other RCA locations within a year after treatment. This consideration will be subject to the standard hiring process and must not compromise ethical standards, patient care, or the reputation of RCA.

What You'll Do:
The School-Based Mental Health Therapist is responsible for providing outpatient mental health treatment/service to youth in the school setting. The position requires delivery of individual/family/group therapy, interaction with provider agencies and referral sources, participation in team meetings when appropriate and requested, and education and support to the community.
What We're Looking For:
* Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible) in the state of North Carolina
* 2 years clinical work experience preferred
* LCAS or LCAS-A licensure a plus
* Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop and implement viable treatment plans
* Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred
* Experience in individual and group therapy
* Excellent listening and communication skills
* Bilingual a plus

Overview:

Caseload / Patient Population:
The PT hired for this role will see a mix of general outpatient orthopedic caseload with an emphasis on neck, back, joints, and post-op.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position to work 5 days per week, Monday - Friday. No weekends / No holidays. Enjoy excellent work/life balance. The actual work schedule is flexible depending on clinic needs, staff availability, and the preference of the candidate hired. The clinic is open from 7 am until 6 pm.
Job Requirements:
• Graduation as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (or equivalent standing).
• Eligible for Georgia state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Prior experience is not required. New Grad PTs are welcome.
• Full-time is preferred, candidates with 20 hours and 3 weekdays of availability will also be considered.
