Maintain client records, completing all necessary paperwork 24 hours of a session.
Plan and implement treatment collaboratively which includes completing all paperwork collaboratively with full live participation of the client
Coordinate treatment components and communicate with all collateral agents
Provide treatment within guidelines established by the Brien Center. Treatment is goal focused with a clearly defined end. Clients requiring long term care will be referred to a CBHC clinical extender, for example a Care Navigator. Treatment is either Urgent care with a clearly defined end or Routine Care with goals that are reviewed quarterly.
Provide consultation to community agencies on mental health/substance abuse issues upon request
CBHC is required to provide 24-48 hour access to care. Clinicians are required to participate in centralized scheduling.
Interventions and treatment are evidence based approaches from the approved list of treatment modalities.
Treatment provided is both routine and urgent care. Length of treatment in routine care is reviewed the Utilization Review Committee
Treatment is provided by a team of providers; the clinician takes a leadership role in team planning and coordinates care with the CBHC Team
Treatment is delivered either in person or via Telehealth based on clinical need and client choice

Specific Duties Include:

Provide programmatic legal support to Counsel's Office staff to ensure accuracy and timely implementation of policies, responses to issues, and programs.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Executive Chamber Assistant and Senior Counsels, the office of Federal Affairs, Deputy Secretaries, Agency General Counsels, outside organizations, experts, advocates, and other institutions.
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school, be a member in good standing with the New York State Bar, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant and progressively responsible legal work experience. Previous experience in a leadership role as an attorney in the federal government is strongly preferred.
Additionally, candidates should have some combination of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Experience with the federal regulatory process and processes related to federal funding, including applications for funding and administration of federal funding programs.

The Intake Clinician's primary responsibility is to conduct Intake Assessments for prospective patients seeking behavioral health services at the Bleuler Psychotherapy Center (BPC) or Bleuler Chemical Dependency Program (BCD). The Intake Clinician is responsible to collect all information required to complete the Intake Assessment to include demographics, presenting problem, referral source, family composition, risk level, prior behavioral health treatment to ascertain if the individual is appropriate for services at BPC. The Intake Clinician may carry a small caseload and run therapeutic groups as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducts intake assessments and facilitates walk-in appointments through Open Access.
Prioritizes high risk patients and referrals, coordinates communication with both the clinician and the patient to assure an appropriate and timely handoff from the intake process to clinician assignment.
Makes referrals to agencies and community resources as appropriate for the patients.
Participates in clinic initiatives to use evidence-based practices to assess and treat disorders and symptoms such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and Suicidal Ideation.
Confers and consults with members of the treatment team including the psychiatrist, clinical supervisor, and other professional and technical personnel in implementing a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care as part of the warm handoff.
