The EVS Office Support provides clerical support to the departments reporting to Environmental Services, including but not limited to, answering the telephone and radio staff as necessary, ensuring day-to-day documents/forms are readily available, and data entry to maintain multiple databases.

· Types and proofreads material for grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors and for proper format, accuracy and completeness.
· Complies with all applicable state and federal laws including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations which govern privacy and confidentiality information about patients.

Physical Demands: This position entails a high level of work performed at a computer terminal throughout the day as well as the regular use of a telephone or headset equipment. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: The centers operate (7) days per week, 8AM to 8PM. Full-time employees will work three (3) 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.
Travel: No travel is expected for this position however, depending on the location, this position may work at more than one center.

Position Summary
The IP Clerk will play a vital role in the GT IP Prosecution team, supporting legal teams by managing correspondence from the USPTO and foreign Patent Offices, conducting life science-based patent and trademark searches, and assisting with due diligence projects and drawings for patent applications. The position provides a great introduction to the IP practice at a large law firm. Many former IP Clerks have gone on to attend law school, become patent agents, or to work as paralegals. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Manages incoming US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and foreign Patent Office correspondence
Works with attorneys to conduct life science based searches of patent and trademark databases
Prepares and sends letters reporting US PTO and foreign correspondence to clients
Prepares drawings for life science patent applications.
Works on Sequence Listings for patent applications that include polynucleotide and amino acid sequences
Maintains and organizes client files and electronic databases
Works on Information Disclosure Statements
Monitors the status of client files and patent or trademark tasks
Analyzes scientific literature in connection with special projects
Performs administrative tasks for IP department
Assists with other department activities as needed, and performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

School Year Clerk
Clerk Job 4 miles from Tewksbury
(10 months) and the hours are from 8:30-3:30. The position includes management of both sides of ASPEN (the school side and the Special Ed side.) This includes the management of using ASPEN to get students enrolled in Special Ed after the registration process is completed. The position also includes oversight of Community Pass which is used for tuition payments. The preschool clerk also communicates regularly with the transportation company to arrange specialized transportation for special education students attending Project Support. The preschool is mandated to hold screenings throughout the school year for the children in the community if parents have concerns and the clerk schedules these screening appointments with parents sending them the required documents for this process. Organization and oversight of the community student application process with the support of the preschool director are also key components of the position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students by greeting students at the door. Greet visitors and use the Raptor system.
2. Answering phones and managing correspondence.
3. Help staff and parents with routine problems or issues.
4. Maintain student records and files and organization of paperwork including waiting list, transportation, and class lists.
