• Serves as back up to the front desk receptionist for all duties including answering and directing phone calls, greeting, and assisting members and other visitors, and handling calls requiring basic information.

1. Assist with the arrival and dismissal of students by greeting students at the door. Greet visitors and use the Raptor system.
2. Answering phones and managing correspondence.
3. Help staff and parents with routine problems or issues.
4. Maintain student records and files and organization of paperwork including waiting list, transportation, and class lists.
5. Compile and maintain caseload lists and prepare reports.
6. Maintain the Special Education meeting calendar and send IEP meeting notices.
7. Serving as a point of contact for families inquiring about the preschool program.
8. Assist the Preschool Director with invoicing and maintaining budgets as well as keeping track of purchase orders
9. Create weekly payroll sheets for daily substitutes.
10. Point of contact with the copy machine company for repairs.
11. Enroll and withdraw students using the appropriate DESE/MA coding.
12. Make transportation requests and initiate transportation changes as they occur.
13. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Preschool Director.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Performs a range clerical support functions for This position works with other accounting staff assisting in entering information into an accounting system and ensuring transparency and efficiency in all accounting transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Enters customer payments into the Company's' database
Enters credit memos into the company's database
Provides suppliers and customers account information and resolutions for discrepancies
Assists with credit and collections for past due invoices
Processes routes customer deposits
Prepares bank deposits
Assists with scanning invoices and credit memos
Maintains digital and physical financial records
Assists with other purchasing tasks
Assists with quarterly and annual audits document retrieval from archiving
Assists with other assigned duties
Performs receptionist duties as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Intermediate Excel skills
Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience as data entry clerk
High School graduate
Experience with entering information into an Accounting system
Good interpersonal and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and written skills.
Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures preferred
Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Job Type: Full-Time/Part time position, Monday through Friday 8:00am to 6:00pm
