POSITION SUMMARY:
This focus of this position will be troubleshooting errors and identifying root causes of recurring issues within the daily matching process. This role will work with all areas of the business on movement related responsibilities to reduce rework and improve processes. It will include entering/maintaining deals and auto matcher rules, matching movements to generate billing and payable transactions, and analyzing the results of all daily activity. This position is an exempt position and reports to the Manager of Operational Accounting. The position is located in Belle Vernon, PA.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Collaborate with the Sales, Tax and Master Data teams to ensure all new business is set up in the ETRM system.
Troubleshoot errors encountered during the processing of daily movements.
Identify root cause and eliminate rework.
Create and update deals for new products, vendors, customers, and locations.
Create and/or match all daily movements.
Create and maintain auto matcher rules in the ETRM system.
Independently review all daily accounting transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with teams across the organization to improve efficiency of current processes.
Compile supporting detail for audit requests.
Assist with month end duties and adhere to assigned deadlines.
Provide training for new analysts.
Assist with testing as new business scenarios are identified.
Perform other duties and ad hoc analysis as assigned by management.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from an accredited four-year college or university, or comparable work experience.
Proven experience analyzing complex data sets.
Strong attention to details.
Ability to work well with others.
Ability to listen to others, express ideas both orally and in writing, and provide relevant and timely information to clients, managers, etc.
