They also process, maintain, compile, and report for health requirements and standards. JOB DUTIES Protect the security of medical records to ensure that confidentiality is maintained in accordance with legal and regulatory guidelines. Review records for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with regulations. Retrieve patient medical records for appointments, medical personnel, physician review, and audit review. Maintain charts for ease of use and understanding (clean/organize) before re-filing alphabetically.
