Position Summary:
Scanning Clerks support the store operations, specifically through the POS software system, as well as ensuring pricing and signage are up-to-date and in good condition.
Duties include customer service, file maintenance, accurate shelf tags and signage.
This role requires customer service, intercultural competence, communication, problem solving, attention to detail, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills as well as adaptability, initiative, resiliency, judgment, and integrity.
Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106
Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 9:00am - 3:00pm except on sale days which are either 5:00 am - 1:00 pm, 5:30 am - 1:30 pm or 6 am - 2:00 pm.
Qualifications:
Communication: Able to communicate well with customers and staff in a timely and caring way
Customer Service: Able to give timely and friendly customer service, making sure customers have the best service
Teamwork: Able to be flexible to support the changing needs of our team and stores
Technical Skills: Basic computer skills including ability to draft and upload documents, email, and navigate Excel spreadsheets; basic math skills; ability to timely and accurately perform addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
Detail Oriented: Proven ability to be accurate and thorough in projects and tasks; ability to identify discrepancies and errors and take steps to correct them
Dependability: Ability to show up each day in a timely manner ready to work
Time Management: Ability to organize, prioritize, delegate, and manage time efficiently to effectively complete tasks and responsibilities
Initiative: Ability to assess situations, department needs, and proactively address; share suggestions with department leadership and accounting team to improve systems and processes
Preferred Qualifications:
Software: Experience with Catapult system, Parsley, SharePoint, and Intermediate level proficiency with Excel
Industry Knowledge: Understanding of retail pricing

Physical and Working Requirements:
The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement throughout the office, sales floor, stock areas, kitchen, and classrooms. Occasional positioning is to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 30 lbs. Scanning Clerks may utilize various equipment including but not limited to computers, printers, and scanning equipment. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person, over the phone, and through email and other written communication.

Qualifications
Primary Duties will consist of, but are not limited to:
Prepares tax and title documents
Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled
Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder is paid off before processing title applications
Checks for accuracy in the application that ensure that all information is complete
Responsible for accurate and timely reconciliation of schedules
Education and/or Experience:
Automotive Title Clerk experience preferred
Accounting and automotive dealership experience preferred
Qualifications and Requirements:
Current, valid Drivers License with driving record that meets insurance company standards
Willing to submit and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
Good working relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service
Maintain a high level of confidentiality
Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
