Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
* Responsible for proper and timely processing/notifications of all overages, shortages and damages on inbound shipments, and workflow errors and variances.
* Performs research to validate inventory balances and transactions.
* Ensure timely resolution of discrepancies and completion of corrections.
* Adjust customer returns, carrier returns, inbound damage, and receipt discrepancies.
* Generates a daily inventory reconciliation report (SAP to WMS comparison), ensuring transactions requiring correction are completed.
* Request cycle count to verify OS&D for inbound/outbound discrepancies.
* Assists with gathering data for inventory control reports.
* Maintain accurate and complete documentation for all inventory adjustments within SAP and WMS.
* Become knowledgeable of the responsibilities of the other positions to assist in times of urgency, breaks, absences, or vacation.
Education and Experience:
* 1 year of clerical or data entry experience required.
* High School diploma or GED, preferred.
* SAP or JDE experience preferred.
* Attention to detail preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Good verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment.
* Ability to read and interpret distribution documents.
* Ability to obtain an electric pallet jack certification.
