Key Responsibilities
The Controller will report to the CFO and lead the business office in all aspects of financial operations. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Leadership
• Assist with all financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with organizational policies and applicable regulations.
• Partner with the CFO to develop and execute financial strategies that align with Clearbrook's mission and goals.
• Assist and collaborate with department directors to develop budgets, monitor financial performance, and identify and address variances.
Accounting Operations
• Direct and manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, purchasing, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger maintenance, and client benefits.

• Ensure proper reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and monthly bank reconciliations.

• Support external audits by preparing schedules, responding to inquiries, and addressing findings.
• Oversee compliance with tax regulations, including preparation of required schedules and annual 1099 filings.
Team Leadership

• Conduct training, performance evaluations, and capacity building to enhance team effectiveness.
System Optimization

Education
• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Experience

General Duties: The Client Benefits Assistant will perform a variety of accounting functions pertaining to processing and maintaining client benefits and any other duties as assigned by the CFO, Director of Accounting or Client Benefits Coordinator.
Essential Functions:
Update Check Book Balances / Bill Paying /Reimbursements.
Process SNAP benefits for updates and resolve any issues.
Process DHS redeterminations for ICF and CILA.
Help maintain SS Payee reports.
Retrieve, collect, record and fax client pay data to Social Security.
Setup new clients with rep payee bank account, and close accounts as needed.
Receive and request Medicare/Medicaid cards.
Review and file EOBs from Medicaid/Medicare.
Review prescription formularies.
Sort and distribute Business office daily mail.

The Training Specialist is responsible for the provision of training to Clearbrook staff and a variety of tasks that provide support to the Staff Training Department. The Training Specialist reports directly to the Director of Training. The Training Specialist will primarily be supporting our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) so that they remain compliant on training requirements and have an excellent training and orientation experience. As needed, this person will also develop and facilitate new organization-wide training opportunities.
Essential Functions:
Training Facilitation (60%):
1. Planning, coordinating, and facilitating on-site and offsite training opportunities.
2. Obtaining and maintaining designated instructor certificates (QBS Safety Care, American Heart Association and DHS Course Coordinator), CEUs, and required training.
3. In conjunction with the Director, developing, revising, and updating training curricula.
4. Responsible for successfully implementing the PHI coaching approach as well as utilize PHI techniques when communicating with staff.
5. Scheduling and set-up of training areas.
Administration (40%):
1. Utilizing data and reports to ensure training compliance and employee satisfaction.
2. Support staff with any training related questions or concerns, providing excellent customer service (i.e. off-site training registration.
3. Assisting employees in staying up-to-date on their trainings.
