The Maintenance Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and sanitation of PLD facilities. Key duties include performing custodial tasks such as cleaning, sanitizing restrooms, stripping and waxing floors, handling waste and recycling, and maintaining outdoor areas. The position requires collaboration with other departments, mentoring fellow custodians, and supporting special projects as needed. Successful candidate will be coached on cleaning locations in Ridgefield, CT. Vacuuming, mopping, restrooms, trash removal, cleaning entry doors, etc. Covering on teams when associates are not able to work. Doing detail work at various offices. Nature and Scope A Custodian has the primary responsibility of cleaning the facility and grounds in such a way as to promote a healthy and safe environment.
