About the Role

Pick, pack and sort: Use technology similar to smartphone devices to scan packages, pick and stage orders, and conduct handoffs to Dashers.

Warehouse organization and safety: Maintain a safe working environment by performing all duties in compliance with DashMart safety and security standards. Complete all cleaning and warehouse organization tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:
Applicants should be experienced in all phases of custodial duties and responsibilities;
An excellent attendance record and an outstanding attitude are essential. Applicants will be expected to perform such tasks as:
Floor sweeping
Floor stripping and refinishing
Disinfecting in accordance with health and safety requirements
Painting
Changing lights
Changing ceiling tiles
Washing windows, etc.
Applicants should possess a basic knowledge of building mechanical equipment and have some general mechanical aptitude. Applicants must be able to work effectively with others to meet the building standards set forth by the Administrator of Facilities/Operations.
SELECTION GUIDELINES FOR EXPECTED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ABOVE POSITION:
An attendance record acceptable to administration.
A high school diploma or equivalent.

Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement between the Livonia Public School District and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO Local 118, Council 25.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
The work year, salary, and fringe benefits will be consistent with the current agreement between the Board of Education and the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees. This position will remain open until the position is filled.
