JOB SUMMARY
The Custodian role is responsible for overall housekeeping and cleanliness of the facility. The ideal candidate must have cleaning experience and have worked in an operation with strict health and safety policies and procedures. Experience working in food production or similar manufacturing environment is preferred. Candidates must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.

As a Houseperson at Club Wyndham, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our resort. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining various areas of the resort, including common spaces, restrooms, and ancillary areas, while following HHS cleaning procedures and best practices. Your friendly and helpful demeanor will contribute to a positive guest experience and a cohesive team environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Clean assigned areas of the resort, including common areas, restrooms, ancillary areas, and more
* Sweep and mop floors and wipe furniture, walls, doors, windows, tables and other surfaces
* Remove trash and replenish soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
* Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
* Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
* Provide friendly and kind service to all guests
* Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must be at least 18 years old
* Communicate effectively in English and work well in a team environment
* Background check and proof of employment eligibility required
* Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
* Preferred: Housekeeping or laundry experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, hotel operations, healthcare)
