ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The duties and responsibilities of a Twin Peaks Janitor / Busser include, but are not limited to: * Adhering to uniform standards * Adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant * Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment * Ensure HOH Standards, Safety and Sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times * Ability to work as a team * Train using tablets or computer * Ability to work in a fast paced environment * Any other duty/responsibility that management may deem necessary * Assisting with opening and closing duties of the restaurant included, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, etc. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Proven experience as a Janitor Busser. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to communicate in English. Must be able understand the policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must attend orientation and agree to policies and procedures as outlined in the Twin Peaks training. Must attend and successfully complete the training program prior to working a shift without supervision. Summary: Maintains the facility at laboratory/hospital cleanliness standards. Responsible for laboratory glassware cleaning, Scope of Responsibility: Maintains the cleanliness of the laboratory facility. Cleans laboratory glassware according to strict Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), and National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) regulations. This position is critical to the overall function of the laboratory. Proper glassware cleaning is critical to analytical quality control. Disposes of samples. Documents sample disposal. Obtains general understanding of laboratory safety requirements. Maintains cleanliness of the side-walk around the outside of the laboratory building. Supports the divisional operations with regular and timely attendance. Supports the relationship between the City of Odessa and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with visitors and City staff; maintains confidentiality of work-related issues and City information; performs other duties as required or assigned.
