education, social and/or civic activities , to coordinate facilities request forms and events, and to protect school property.
3. Organize and direct assigned personnel.
4. Assign and train personnel in the proper performance of duties, safe and efficient work, materials, methods and practices and
appropriate care and use of equipment.
5. Make out work requests for district maintenance personnel and check that such work has been done as requested.
6. Inspect work of assigned personnel and arrange for correction of improper or inefficient conditions to include at least three night
inspections monthly.
7. Inspect, turn on, operate, check and secure low-pressure boilers and room space heaters.
8. Estimate quantity of supplies and equipment, prepare and submit requests for materials in a timely manner to insure on-hand
inventory needed to accomplish work and receive, account for and distribute same as needed.
9. Keep records of such things as labor, time, cleaning materials, equipment, chemicals and supplies used, etc.
10. Perform custodial work when not occupied with Lead's duties.
11. Move, setup and arrange such furniture or equipment as PA systems, lights, risers, chairs, desks, media equipment, etc.
12. Take or participate in inventories.
13. Operate building security systems and life safety systems.
14. Participate and direct recycling program
15. Write basic reports and correspondence.
16. Accompany gas, water, fire, or health inspectors as needed.
