CITY OF GALLATIN The City of Gallatin is currently accepting applications for a Temporary/Seasonal Custodian in the Parks and Recreation Department. The purpose of this position is to perform semiskilled custodial, building maintenance, and supplies inventory work. Employees may be assigned specific areas of responsibility within the department. Duties include cleaning and stocking restrooms daily; vacuuming floors; delivering and picking up supplies; gathering and disposing of refuse. The hourly rate range is $13.00-$16.00.
The normal schedule is Monday - Thursday from 4 pm-8 pm, Friday from 3 pm-6 pm and Saturday from 8 am-6 pm. Nights and weekends may be required. Hours will vary depending on the needs of the department.
Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years old. Must possess a combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the eighth grade, some experience in custodial and building maintenance work and have a valid driver's license.
