Duties/Responsibilities
Works as support to Center Director to complete custodial duties of the Burton 4-H Center. This includes cleaning sleeping areas, dormitory restrooms, other guest facilities, monthly inspection/cleaning of fire extinguishers, air return vents and exhaust fans. Garbage and recycling collection. Position will work with Center Director in support of 4-H summer camp program as needed. Other duties as needed and assigned.
Percentage of time 85 Duties/Responsibilities
Landscaping duties like weeding and mulching. Maintain plantings around property to include cleaning and weeding as needed.
Percentage of time 5 Duties/Responsibilities
Works with the Environmental Education Program Coordinator to ensure custodial work goals/scheduling supports education programs.

Works with Dining Hall Manager as necessary to coordinate and support cleaning and custodial work in food service areas. Other duties as needed.

Communications
1. Attend all regular staff meetings and required in service training sessions.
2. Must communicate effectively to convey information to residents, Shift Supervisor, and Management.
3. Review daily any and all communication tools used in providing resident care.
4. Communicate residents' needs with Executive Director.
5. Notify your supervisor or the Wellness Director if you observe a change in a resident's condition.
6. Respond to on-the-job injuries in accordance with the community's policies and procedures.
