Responsibilities: * Lead and perform analytics that support risk policies and strategies. * Play a key role in structuring business strategy, process reengineering, process optimization, and organizational design. * Analyze and redesign business processes to improve efficiency and enhance overall performance. * Manage, support and advance analytics projects for the senior stakeholders (CROs , MDs) - understand requirements, drive demos and build book of work (selling/marketing team's capabilities, identify business opportunities, etc.) * Participate in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers * Negotiate internally, often at a senior level to define the book of work and prioritization of resources in case of multiple conflicting projects * Regularly and effectively communicate with senior stakeholders, both verbally and written, as well as progress of path to strong effort * Coordinate, influence and build consensus with colleagues in other areas (such as technology, data owners) to define technology tool set/landscape and resolve data issues * Keep Retail Risk CAO leadership and key partners across 1st & 2nd LOD abreast of the status for committed deliverables * Work with Retail Risk CAO leadership to support the People, Process and Execution strategy as well as the Communication strategy for the department * Analyze and evaluate risk framework and risk management business processes, anticipate requirements, and identify areas for transformative / digitization improvements for effective and efficient integration of consumer and wealth business and risk practices. * Lead role-based strategy design including providing inputs to transformation programs on business requirements for analytics, calculations, dashboards and workflows to enable delivery of seamless risk user & role-based journeys (from CRO to Group Risk Directors to Business Risk Managers) * Challenge/support the team on technical/coding, as needed. * Identify opportunities and design/drive process improvements. * Responsible to a degree for technical strategy and target technology landscape for risk analytics and BI toolset Qualifications: * Proven interpersonal skills including team or project management, running Committees, and communicating at all levels of the organization. Ability to influence senior stakeholders including CROs and MDs * Superior communication, presentation, articulation, and negotiation skills * Strong technical, analytical, and process improvement knowledge * Robust business acumen, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to convert tech data to meaningful business insights. * 10+ years of experience preferred in a mix of the following functions: risk management and oversight, strategic consulting, or policy and risk framework * Experience in retail credit risk preferred * Experience in managing complex projects with diverse stakeholder groups * Excellent judgment and independent decision-making ability * Hands on experience with analytical tools and experience with big data a desired plus Education: * Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
