JOB OVERVIEW
Provide services and support as a Childcare Specialist/Provider (Caregivers) in the DOD/Military Industry Sector focusing on Business Process Solutions for clients such as Department of Defense (DOD) | Virginia Army National Guard Generally Located In CONUS - Richmond VA and across the Piedmont Region (Of Country/World).
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Certified/CPR-Qualified Childcare Providers | Childcare Specialist/Provider [DOD001006]
Supervise and care for up to 15 children (ages 0-11) with a minimum provider-to-child ratio of 1:5.
Ensure child safety through constant monitoring and established sign-in/out procedures.
Implement and follow an age-appropriate hourly activity schedule.
Maintain a clean and safe childcare environment, including providing necessary equipment (changing tables, toys, nap pads, etc.).
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR).
Ensure compliance with no-medication administration policies.
Provide emergency contact availability via a designated on-site cell phone.
Qualifications
Desired Qualifications For Certified/CPR-Qualified Childcare Providers | Childcare Specialist/Provider [DOD001006] (DOD001006) Candidates:
Certification in childcare services or related fields.
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification.
Must have passed a comprehensive background check (submitted no later than five days prior to the event).
Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) and Virginia Army National Guard (VAARNG) childcare regulations.
Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in childcare services, preferably within military, government, or event settings.
Experience managing diverse age groups (infants to pre-teens).

Emergency response and first-aid proficiency.
Effective communication with both children and adults.
Organizational abilities for record-keeping (sign-in/out rosters and allergy/special needs tracking).

Additional ancillary responsibility for Energy Communications Specialist involves engaging with stakeholders to ensure alignment with DOE objectives.
Other Details
Providers must adhere to the no-medication administration policy.
The primary on-site contact must provide a working cell phone number to the COR and all parents/guardians.

Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity. This position reports to the Health & Wellness Director.
Memory Care Attendant - Essential Functions :
Provides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
Follows the schedule of resident's needs set out by supervisor.
Provides emotional and social support to residents.
Documents daily log of assistance.
Informs supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
Memory Care Attendant respects residents' confidentiality.
Is familiar with emergency equipment and procedures.
Attends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings.
