Who We Are
This is NOT your average preschool. Mary Evans is a play-based learning center that honors each child for who he/she is. Teachers work as a team to plan developmentally appropriate choices that are offered throughout the day. The Center is open 50 weeks a year from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. There are openings beginning in June, for summer and continuing into the school year, or beginning in late August and continuing through the school year. Children transition from the toddler program, into the Preschool class, as they reach the appropriate age and developmental readiness.
What You Would Be Doing
We are hiring preschool teachers with a degree or working towards a degree in Early Childhood or a related field. Teachers will work up to 40 hours per week on a team of three teachers. The schedule is varied throughout the week but you will know your schedule in advance. Daily shift is up to 8 hours. Teachers share all responsibilities in the classroom and we trust our teachers to manage their classrooms.
