Bridges is a youth-development program that is committed to the long-term success of Baltimore City youth and to providing life-changing opportunities to independent school students. The program currently serves 798 young people - 440 Baltimore City youth ages 9-23 and 358 independent school students - through sites at The St. Paul's Schools, Gilman School, The Bryn Mawr School, and McDonogh School. Teachers who are hired to teach in the program will be hired, contracted, and paid through one of our four program location partners - The St. Paul's Schools, Gilman School, The Bryn Mawr School, or the McDonogh School. One of Bridges' hallmark programs is the Bridges Summer Institute - a five-week, in-person summer program for Baltimore City students in rising grades 4-9.
