Job Responsibilities Prepare and test samples from manufacturing or other handling processes using qualitative and quantitative analysis, with the goal of determining if substance meets standards/requirements. Have a thorough understanding of chemical testing equipment and processes and the ability to employ a variety of methods during the normal course of lab analysis work. Prepare documents that report the results of lab work and that relay product specifications to customers. Development and maintenance of laboratory test results record keeping systems. Responsible for minor lab-related equipment troubleshooting and repair. The position has a role in preserving workplace safety and the use of appropriate safe materials handling. Qualifications Chemical, Laboratory or Science bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred 1-2 years of experience working in an analytical lab preferred. Experience performing wet chemistry.
