This position is an opportunity to build experience working in a therapeutic milieu environment, administering medications, maintaining documentation and communication with staff, and transporting residents as needed - ODL is required. This is a potential opportunity to gain hours for credentialling. Temp/On-call positions generally help cover 8-10-hour shifts as needed, the most emergent need is graveyard coverage. Temp/On-call Aides are required to cover at least two shifts per month and may take on as many additional shifts as they are willing/able. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES Assists in assessing health and social service needs of a specific population through home visits and visits to other agencies and social services resources; refers clients to appropriate resource; advocates to obtain required services as necessary; provides information and education on health-related issues.
