No Dialysis experience is required.
Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic other than your assigned home clinic
Potential to float to various clinics during and after your training

What you can expect:
Direct Patient Care. Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide safe, comfortable and hygienic dialysis treatment.
Our PCTs care for multiple patients.
Technician Duties. To monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.
Building long-term relationships with your patients who are suffering from end stage renal disease and are receiving treatment on average 3 times/week. You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics.
Team. Cross functional team of clinicians including technicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and leadership. PCTs work under the supervision of a RN.

Becoming a Senior Helper, your responsibilities will be:
Providing companionship and assistances with daily activities which includes, light housekeeping, transportation, laundry and linen changing, medication reminders, and meal prepping
Providing personal care which includes, bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Monitoring Alzheimer’s and Dementia clients
May assist client to and from bed, as well as throughout the night in overnight shifts
Requirements:
Active Level 2 background screening
Driver’s License
Current Auto Insurance
CPR/AED card
Health Physical stating free from communicable diseases within the last year
First Aid
Current CEU certificates

Your Role as a Home Health Aide (HHA/CNA):
Provide personal care, bathing, and hands-on care as outlined in the patient's plan of care.
Complete visit records promptly and accurately according to Agency policy.
Report any changes in the patient's condition to the supervising RN.
Perform essential household tasks to support health care in the home as assigned.
Assist patients with ambulation and exercises as directed by the care plan.
Qualifications:
Successfully completed a Home Health Aide training program and competency evaluation as required by Medicare Conditions of Participation.
Demonstrates a compassionate and caring attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Ability to follow directions, read, and write effectively to carry out assigned tasks.
