Certified Nursing Assistants perform basic restorative services and basic nursing services related to the safety, comfort, personal hygiene, basic mental health and protection of patient rights. At the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, incumbents perform the duties described in the series concept and function as a lead-worker.
