Usually, caterers don't need a college education. The most common degree for caterers is bachelor's degree with 41% graduates, with only 28% caterer graduates earning high school diploma. Caterers who decided to graduate from college often finish Johnson & Wales University or University of Phoenix. Some good skills to have in this position include food service, kitchen equipment and food delivery.
