What a day is like:
Daily focus is working together on a Tree Trimming Crew to provide high quality tree care to our clients. The Tree Trimming Crew is involved in all aspects of pruning, removals, and other facets of tree care listed above. Crew members are able to safely operate all equipment and perform the assigned job tasks while also providing
excellent service to our clients.
We need an ISA certified arborist with these qualities:
• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and have a working knowledge of each
species' characteristics
• Ability to climb without spurs
• Experience with tree care safety standards
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation
• Experience with aerial lifts
• Demonstrate additional competencies in all areas of knowledge related to climbing.
• Communicate advanced understanding of all safety policies and procedures, including hazard tree identification.
• Utilize specialized equipment properly for climbing (ropes, saddle, ladders) along with all associated tools.
• Apply knowledge of branch collars and proper pruning cuts with total competence on chainsaw operations in small to medium difficulty (40-50') trees.
• Employ ANSI A300 Pruning Standards and Terminology and ANSI Z safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of different tree species and different techniques necessary for climbing each tree
including Maples, Ash, Apples (Crab vs. Regular), Populus Species, Pines and Spruce.
• Complete work exhibiting ability to raise a ladder, throw a rope, and safe techniques to climb into a tree.
• Set up safely with proper placement of lowering lines in a strong enough crotch, know when to attach a tag line, and engage proper lowering techniques.
• Know when to double crotch and use other appropriate techniques when working in trees.

Verifies accuracy of entered information. Verifies appropriateness of specimens received. May assist in monitoring workflow and training of new employees.
3. Focuses on quality by assuring that all work performed is accurate and complete. Completes documents legibly and accurately per site protocol. Follows established methods and practices. General Purpose
This position provides boiler and/or turbine and general mechanical engineering support to operations and maintenance on a daily basis. Applies prescribed methods and standard practices in performing specific tasks within projects and assists other engineering staff on more complex projects. Develops engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the Company's generation, transmission, distribution, telecommunication, or other utility facilities/systems.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the Engineer I position include the following:
• Act as the day-to-day mechanical engineer and as project manager for both capital and O&M funded projects.
• Analyze the system design, programming, and modification.
• Troubleshoot challenges and keep the plant in compliance with industry best practices.
• Develop studies of limited scope and prepare data for cost estimations and analyses.
• Run equipment and performance tests and install and inspect new equipment.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards.
• Serve as the plant's Certified Weld Inspector (CWI).
• Environmental support for plant systems including but not limited to scrubbers and precipitators.
• Capital Budgeting for the plant betterment.
Additional Responsibilities of the Engineer II position include the following:
• Design, develop, modify, and evaluate systems, process, or facilities to support Company objectives.
• Develop moderately complex electrical engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.
• Determine methods and techniques for obtaining results.
• Guide and direct associate level engineers, technicians and drafters.
• Recommend alternative solutions to management in area of specialty on engineering solutions to meet business needs.
• Deliver on commitments and manage outside engineering services to accomplish the assigned work.

Additional Responsibilities of the Sr. Engineer include the following:

Requirements
Requirements for the Engineer I position include the following:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited college/university.
