We are currently seeking a seasoned Retail Sales Associate to join our established, but rapidly growing organic mattress and bedding brand, specifically at our upcoming Bellevue Washington showroom. This is an hourly position, plus commission, and benefits.
The ideal fit for this role will possess the following:
Experience and Skillset
· Minimum 4-5 years Retail Sales/Management experience.
· Mattress, Furniture/Home Furnishings or related industry experience preferred; but not required.
· Understanding of the overall management of a retail organization, including merchandising, inventory, delivery processes, record keeping, meeting sales goals, reporting etc.
· High level of attention to detail and impeccable organizational skills is a must.
· Moderate technical capability. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products, e-mail, and the ability to quickly learn corporate systems as required.
· Ability to multi-task and juggle several projects, customers and day to day issues concurrently, as well as leading the associates to success for the store.
· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Checks out all customer purchases accurately and efficiently using electronic scanning cash register.
Accurately collects payment for all customer purchases, including cash, checks, debit and credit, EBT, and gift cards. Provides accurate cash change as required.

* Interpreting and using all technical and material information available in Navy, Shipbuilder and Manufacturer drawings, technical manuals, documents, or Equipment Manufacture's data and/or other pertinent commercial data to identify repair and modification requirements and to identify, price and order materials.
* Identify interferences and any other special circumstances that will impact the planning process and Work Item development.
* Support development of work items/specifications in accordance with company and JFMM (Joint Force Maintenance Manual) 4-E requirements using company and NAVSEA instructions and pertinent NAVSEA Standard Items, Class Standard Items, and Local Standard Items.
* Work with and in the Navy Maintenance Database (NMD) and use the available application program to support development of work items/specifications and labor, material, and cost estimates in accordance with company and NAVSEA instructions and directives.
Qualifications:
* Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and appropriate Trade School or related Armed Forces School or at least 7 years related experience.
* Must have extensive knowledge of Navy ship compartmentation and lay-out.
* Must have the ability to read, understand and validate Work Notification and to determine the scope of work contained within the Work Notification.
* Must have comprehensive writing and communication skills capable of both verbal and written findings and recommendations to the Planner/Estimators.
