GENERAL PURPOSE:
The Retail Associate is responsible for ensuring our Customers have a positive shopping experience. We are hiring for Front of House Cashier Positions. Our Front of House team rotates through four positions to make sure our business is running well. We are a fast service establishment, compared to a serve and sit restaurant. We offer all hands-on training. Previous experience is welcomed as well! Starting Front of House Pay:
Training Pay is $13/Hour Plus 10% of Cash Tip Pool
Off-Training Pay is $10/Hour Plus Even Split of Cash Tip Pool. Added On Electronic Tips Onto Weekly Pay Checks. (THIS IS WHERE THE $20-$26/HOUR COMES INTO PLAY)

Expediting, Taking Phone Orders, Cash Handling, Bussing Tables, Prep, etc.
Quality Checking Product Going Out To Guests
Cleanliness and Sanitary Precautions Of All Work Stations
Accurately Processing All Cash and Credit Card Payments
Responsible Alcohol Handling
Communicating with Back of House and Managers

Overview

Purpose:
To check out customer purchases and otherwise assist customers, to meet objectives for accuracy and provide prompt, friendly, courteous customer service.

Reports to Front End Manager, Part Time
Responsibilities:
• Greet customers with a smile, being sure to make eye contact.
• Check out customer purchases quickly and accurately, using correct PLU's and departments.
• Bag customer purchases as needed and ask customers if they need assistance. For those needing assistance, carry out groceries or call for staff or member-worker help if available.

• Explain membership program. Receive membership applications and equity payments when Information Desk is not staffed.
• Open and close out registers following established procedures. Balance cash drawer at end of shift.
• Maintain checking area in clean, orderly condition.
