You'll go through our in-house lifeguard certification program as part of your training and you must pass a basic swim test (50 yards) to complete the course Must be able to commit to missing no more than one class every 6 weeks (80-90% attendance) for each day you work You will find and prepare your own substitute teacher when you aren't able to teach yourself, leaving notes so that your substitute can be as fin-tastic as you are Ability to be in the water for 4 hours at a time; this is an in-water position in a chlorinated pool and can be difficult for individuals with sensitive skin without proper pre and post shift care Schedule: This position is a great opportunity for those ages 16 and up and others who are interested in an exciting, part time position.
