MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Six (6) months of experience in a closely related field emphasizing card and cash handling, balancing, and customer service. Preference for experience with point-of-sale software. Monitors radiation detectors for high readings. * Coordinates activities with Environmental Manager and Inspectors to admit only permissible materials. * Prepares daily cash reports. * Prepares daily reports for inbound and outbound customer traffic. * Performs accurate cash handling duties. * Directs vehicles to scales to expedite the flow of traffic. * Answers customer inquiries and provides information related to landfill operations and various types of waste. * Provides instruction to customers on proper disposal of various waste materials. * Performs data entry duties to maintain vehicle and document files related to customer accounts. * Assists with ensuring safe and efficient operation of the scales.
