Create and maintain job schedule and ensure that work is done to quality standards, original plans, and specs, and meets all deadlines
Demonstrate general safety knowledge, wearing appropriate safety equipment, using tools safely and remains accident-free
Within the 6th to 12th-month mark and ongoing:
Start running small projects by overseeing sub-trades and carpenters, and is willing whenever needed to jump in and do the work
Communicate with clients/inspectors/city officials a few times a day to stay updated on critical steps to move the project forward
Show integrity, compassion, and empathy when dealing with clients that embodies the culture at EWBI

We seek construction professionals with established carpentry expertise to work on our residential building & remodeling projects. You will primarily be responsible for delivering the finished product to the satisfaction of the contract specifications, customer expectations, building officials, and the Archadeck franchise. Previous carpentry experience with residential projects is required, as are strong interpersonal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic and the ability to follow our documented processes. We pay well and have high expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate your employees to ensure they understand and work to construction drawings in compliance with the specified details
Check construction drawings with sales design drawings to ensure adequacy and accuracy of information
Check materials delivered against take-off and inform franchisee of shortages to allow for the prompt delivery of missing items and uninterrupted workflow
Establish and follow a schedule with the franchisee
Maintain an orderly job site by cleaning up daily and assuring safety practices are utilized
Maintain positive relations with customers
Refer all problems to the franchisee for resolution
Contact franchisee if necessary to resolve immediately
Comply with the Subcontractor Agreement as signed

+ Active participation in the Historic Preservation Academy.
+ Must understand the National Historic Preservation Act, NPS rules regulating historic preservation of NPS assets and be able to work with NPS BRM.
+ Must be able to identify and/or research wood species in original construction and furniture, and repair in kind.
