Title: Carpenter This position will execute all varieties of carpentry-related construction, maintenance, renovation, and repair projects on campus, using high quality carpentry skills. Trade school diploma or other carpentry credentials desired. Experience 5 years of residential and/or commercial building experience. Ability to work with wood, metal, or materials necessary for fabrication, repair, and renovation of all buildings. Knowledge of tools, building supplies, and hardware associated with building trade. Computer experience and ability to understand CAD drafting uses and blueprints. Knowledge of roofing, concrete work, window, and door installation also desired. Skills and Knowledge Basic math and computer skills. Ability to logically trouble-shoot equipment problems. Ability to follow oral and written instructions in the conduct of the job. Establish and maintain working relationships with supervisors, co-workers and outside contacts. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring moderate physical strength.
