Repair or replace windows, frames, panels and hardware. Maintain, repair and replace window closures and actuators. Repair, replace and install flooring materials. Adjust, repair and replace ceiling tile and grid. Perform finish carpentry tasks related to construction and/or repair of school furniture including desks, chairs, tables, bookcases, counters, corkboards, cabinets and picture frames. This may include laminate installations. Repair or replace physical education equipment such as mat racks, bleachers, and basketball backboard lifting apparatus. Perform limited construction and remodeling tasks involving alterations/additions to exterior and interior walls, ceilings and floors. Required to enter time and materials, and technician comments along with other information into a computerized work order system. Perform trade-related tasks as assigned by the foreman, Maintenance Manager or Supervisor of Maintenance. Assist in developing and maintaining a preventive and general building maintenance prioritization plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Duties: Performs other related tasks as assigned by manager, foreman, and/or administrators as designated by the Superintendent.
