Maintains, repairs, and replaces windows; installs new glass; re-glazes glass; determines the type of glass; identifies source and extent of the damage; and determines if a contractor is required. Repairs and replaces flooring, such as historical structures, ceramic tile, wood, carpet, tile, vinyl, composite tile/VCT, etc.; determines if floor was installed by contractor or County employees; determines extent of damage; removes all old flooring; and replaces with new flooring. Installs fences; removes mold and mildew; determines the extent of needed mold remediation; determines whether in-house or contractor installation; and develops a list of materials and personal protective equipment required as per OSHA regulations. Determines amount of materials needed to complete projects; provides cost projections as requested; gathers equipment, tools, parts, and supplies; monitors inventory levels; and orders new or replacement materials as required.
