General Carpentry: Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including basic framing, roofing and siding repairs, construction repairs, and other duties as assigned.
Code Compliance: Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Tool Proficiency: Utilize electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools efficiently and safely.
Safety Adherence: Follow jobsite safety guidelines at all times, including the safe transport of equipment and materials to job sites.
Equipment Setup: Safely set up ladders, scaffolding, and hoisting equipment as needed for the job.
Tool Maintenance: Ensure that all tools and equipment are properly used, maintained, and stored.
Worksite Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized work environment on all job sites.
Progress Reporting: Update the supervisor regularly on job progress and report any issues or challenges related to the job.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Experience: minimum of 5 years of experience.
Customer Service: Strong customer service skills are essential.
Attendance: Good attendance and punctuality are required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Preferred Skills: Flat roofing experience is preferred but not required.
Language and Math Skills: Ability to read and write legibly in English and possess a good understanding of basic math.
Licensing: Must have a valid driver's license.
