Provide maintenance and preventive maintenance to the buildings, equipment and grounds to provide a safe and healthful environment. The primary proficiency of this position is in carpentry. Other responsibilities include those of general maintenance i.e., hanging and finishing drywall, electrical, plumbing, equipment maintenance and safety testing.

Qualifications

High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
3 years experience in carpentry-building maintenance
Physical Requirements - Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
Schedule: PRN - as needed. Can be expected to work 8-16 hours/pay period or as needed. Expected to be scheduled during the following timeframe: M-F; 7AM-3:30PM.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience
High School Education or Equivalent
3-5 years experience as a finished carpenter
Union member where applicable
Requirements: Workers should be able to: Physically, workers must be able to: Climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolds; Stoop, kneel, and crouch; Use hands and arms to reach for, handle, and manipulate objects; See well (either naturally or with correction); and lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
