Be the main onsite point of contact that is responsible for planning and managing all onsite activities. Participate in preconstruction activities to accurately plan the assigned project. Plan, develop, and oversee, with the project team, the overall project schedule including initial schedule development, updates, progress reporting, and problem analysis to ensure compliance with company and client requirements. Ensure the project team is scheduling the work, in accordance with the project schedule, to manage the overall progress of the project. Establish, with the help of Safety Director, the site safety plan and ensure implementation of the site safety plan for the duration of the project. Ensure the project abides by Corporate Safety Plan and all OSHA regulations. Uphold commitment to a safe work environment and a continued growth of the safety culture across all projects. Provide technical assistance and oversight of subcontracted and self-perform work. Review, analyze, and resolve constructability issues and discrepancies. Interface with Project Manager, Superintendents, A/E, owner, and subcontractors for solution to keep the project moving forward. Assist in the interpretation of plans, details, and specifications for subcontractors. Establish initial benchmarks and layout needed to ensure adherence to project documents. Provide review of layout completed by subcontractors. Review all construction documents to include drawings and submittals as it applies to the work. Keep an up to date as built set of documents onsite. Act as liaison with clients and A/E teams to facilitate construction activities. Conduct regular project meetings and work with the project team to ensure accurate agendas and meeting minutes are distributed to all parties. Ensure weekly time is entered and review and approve onsite team's daily time entries. Ensure daily project reports are being completed to track workforce staffing, work activities, issues, schedule, communications, safety items, etc. Effectively use all current technology to streamline the onsite management and recordkeeping process. Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures and have a working knowledge of Company HR policies. Review and approve PTO for field employees assigned to the project. Mentor and train other employees, specifically Project Engineers and Superintendents assigned to the project. Ability to workdays, nights, and weekends as required by project schedule.
