As a Caregiver with No Experience, you can expect to assist clients with daily tasks. You do not provide medical treatment, but you can still look after their basic needs of elderly or special needs clients. You prepare meals, assist with grooming, run errands, and help clean the home or living space. The ideal candidate is someone kind-hearted, has good organizational skills, and is willing to learn and grow in the company.

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
Plan and meal and snack preparation.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop.
Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own.
Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Be 18 years old or older.
Valid driver's license (not permit) and insured car that can be with you during the shifts.
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
Respectful and compassionate and strong ethics.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Our Village Caregiving office located in the Fargo, ND is seeking an in-home caregiver to provide essential care and support to individuals in need in the Fargo/Moorhead area. This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical position where the caregiver will work independently to assist clients in their homes. The individual in this role will make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they care for, providing companionship and assistance with activities of daily living.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position at Village Caregiving offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience, paid on a semi-monthly basis. This role offers the opportunity for flexible scheduling. There is a range of paid training hours required based on level of experience. Additionally, the selected candidate will receive ongoing training and support as they work towards providing the highest level of care to clients.
Responsibilities:
• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including but not limited to assistance with personal hygiene/bathing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care.
• Observe and report any changes in client's behavior or condition to the appropriate supervisor.
• Utilize electronic timekeeping software to accurately clock in/out of shifts and submit necessary documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
